A little bit about me
Hey, my name is Iván! I’m a Product Designer based in Barcelona.
I'm an always-improving human being & designer who loves creating end-to-end experiences and making data-driven design decisions.
I aim to improve communication between designers and engineers to refine workflows and achieve better results. I have a graphic design major and a front-end developer background.
When I'm not designing, I love to explore the outdoors and stay active. Jiujitsu and hiking are two of my favorite activities, and I'm always looking to challenge myself and go into adventure.
I live with my wife and our dog Mole (Guacamole), we are digital nomads and love to travel and meet new places.

Senior Product Designer • Nov 2022 - Current
· Led the design of Andela's internal platform, "Matcher Workbench."
· Worked closely with PMs, Devs, and other stakeholders to create designs from Discovery to Delivery
· Created a User Journey to map the "Matchers" experience
· Contributed to the Design System, created and documented new components
· Conducted 13 user interviews in the first six weeks to build rapport, map user pain points, and discover evidence to support design initiatives
· Mentored and advocated for junior designers to help them achieve their best
· Pitched design proposals across different departments and stakeholders

· Worked closely with PMs, Devs & other stakeholders to create a new scheduling experience
· Contributed to the DS, created and documented new Iconography rules for the team
· Worked closely with the research team to define which data was needed to prove design assumptions right

· Pitched design proposals across different departments and stakeholders
